As a sought-after clinician and guest conductor, Timmons regularly leads honor choirs, festivals, and professional development sessions throughout the region. In addition to his work with Second Verse Chorale, Timmons serves as Director of Choral Music at Germantown Academy and has held leadership roles with ensembles across the greater Philadelphia region, including the Rainbow Chorale of Delaware. Across all his work, he remains committed to building welcoming musical communities where every voice is valued and every story has a place.

Jon Matthew Timmons holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from York College of Pennsylvania. He also earned his Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in K-12 Music through Temple University’s certification program, further grounding his work in both educational practice and vocal science.
